Cork stoppers which are entirely manufactured from cork granulates from by-products resulting from the production of natural stoppers. Agglomerated stoppers can be manufactured by individual or extrusion molding.
Agglomerated corks are an economical solution to ensure a perfect seal for a period that should not exceed, in general, 12 months. In addition to the economic advantage they present for low price and high turnover wines, these stoppers still have the advantage of being completely homogeneous within the lot. This product being the result of a highly industrialized process, the only variation between the classes of these stoppers is in the choice of the caliber of the cork granule and, later, in the surface treatment used.
